Round flush canopy; use to complete Tech Lighting's Freejack pendant system. Canopy features one Freejack port, designed to allow the removal and exchange of pendant heads. For use on either ceiling or wall; mounts to a standard 4" junction box. 12 volt, 75 watt electronic transformer (included) fits into the junction box.
  • Canopy Only; pendant and head (sold separately) are necessary to complete the system.
  • See Tech Lighting Low-Voltage Heads for compatible pendants and spot heads.
Note: Please verify before purchase that the pendant is listed as compatible with the Freejack system.

The plastic nipple broke on my Freejack and I was forced to purchase the complete item for a piece that probably cost a dollar.

This base is a very efficient may to mount the Tech Lights directly onto line voltage - without having to use a track and the voltage adaptor. There is a little "cube" which reduces the voltage to 12 V. But you do need to mount this cube inside the box, so it won't work with a "pancake" box. The stainless finish is very nice and the base fixture is short and trim. Shortening the (hanging) cable is a bit complex and not very intuitive, well - the shortening part is easy enough, but connecting the cable to the 12 V power source took a couple attempts before we figured it out. All-in-all a great fixture; we are very happy with it!
